Charlie was Bella’s father.Charlie  was still angry, for she had 'disappeared' three days and finally returned home with Edward , who had left earlier for approximately six months. Bella should be locked in the house after school. When Edward comes to Bella's house to meet her, Charlie stayed with them like a critical gaze typical police until Edward came home. Of course, Charlie did not know Edward followed Bella coming into Bella's room after returning through the main door at night as usual.

Bella still felt guilty with Jacob. After Jacob sewed the wound caused by Edward, Bella wanted to meet Jacob to reconnect a relationship ‘friendship’, which was lost after Edward arrived. Edward, of course, strongly disagreed with Bella's desire to see Jacob because of fears for Bella's safety when she dealt with 'wolf'. it is not  Bella' name if she was not reckless. When Edward hunted in the woods, Bella went to La Push to see Jacob Black. Edward was very angry when he was told Bella went there and he went back from hunting. After Alice negotiated with Bella, finally she want to be ‘hostage’ when Edward hunting. Apparently, Jacob did not stay silent knowing Bella becoming hostage, the second adventure with Jacob finally happening.

After a time horrific incident in Seattle, Many citizens have been killed under mysterious circumstances Seattle. Cullen’s Family knew it happened due to act of the new vampires were still wild and bloodthirsty. On the other occasion was also the incident occurred. Victoria crossed the border region and the Cullen’s family. for there was a tension between the  Cullen's family and several members of the Werewolf, Victoria managed to escape.

When Bella became Alice's hostage in her home, there was an incident at Bella's house. Several pieces of clothes and pillows she used everyday vanished. Alice initially was suspected, for Alice took pajamas to Bella to sleep at her home. Nevertheless, all the suspicions eventually lead to an ominous news emergence of Seattle and Victoria was on the border some time ago.

After knowing this, the entire Cullen's family was meeting to discuss it. Considerations had been planned but still shorthanded because there were not the troops sufficient to clear the young vampire. The problem became clogged.

Edward eventually allowed Bella to go to La Push after learning she could leave and come home safely and Jacob could be trusted. They made a bonfire party with the elders and members of the Werewolf in La Push. Bella finally knew the story of a legend about a Werewolf and why they were so hated vampires, which was narrated by Billy Black Quil's grandfather.

At other times, Bella was also told why Jasper had the ability to subdue the young vampires and the story of how he could be a vampire.

They celebrated graduation party at the home Cullen's family. Jacob Black was coming out with his friends. Alice was of course very angry to know they went into the Cullen family home. Jacob was initiative to help Cullen's family destroying the young vampire. After it was over, they finally made a further meeting to discuss the more detailed technical issues relating to what should be done during the war with the young vampire later.
