HELPING CHILDREN TAKE CONTROL OF THEIR LEARNING

Working successfully with children in school requires an understanding of child development capabilities. Research has proven that the brain function well when movement is part of the learning process.
Most children need to move every fifteen minutes or more to be able to concentrate. Making the movement of this activity is the best way to stimulate learning and optimal interest and excitement in learning. Put the motion in the activities and trying to exploit a natural talent in children and pleasant surprise, we can be served for her activities as a game. They would not have been happy just to practice spelling words, they will also learn faster. For example, we can leave the pieces of jigsaw puzzle in different places around the room and every time they write the correct spelling of a word, they will be allowed to get a piece of the puzzle. When all pieces are collected, they can make the puzzle.

We can help them to make plans for how to learn spelling words. The plan may have included write each spelling word five times as hard as they walked around the room, mobilizing all their brain to learn to combine movement in these activities. Students pay attention better when engaged in activities to balance. The plan can also be put five to ten minute break (perhaps to collect a puzzle) after completing the test. Develop independent work habits enable children to feel like a successful student. Feelings of success encourage more focus and commitment. Parents can help their children most clearly expressed confidence in their child's ability to succeed. Children are encouraged to believe in success is far more likely to survive when the going gets tough. They do not become disheartened by small set backs. They understand the control they have in their educational experience. He could use the remaining time from thirty minutes to an activity of their choice. Work more effectively by combining movement and fun into homework activities and by developing strategies and routines for public relations management. When parents take children into account the trend in teaching and independent work habits, the atmosphere around the house has improved and parents and kids have fun, feel the success, and joy in school.
