NEW MOON

The beginning of this novel told Bella's 18th birthday. This was bothering Bella, for it make her look older than Edward. She really did not want to celebrate her birthday. However, Alice and the other Cullen family looks very excited, for they very rarely celebrate their birthdays to remember their age that never grew.

There was an unexpected event when Bella and the Cullen's family celebrate Bella’s birthday. Bella's hand inadvertently exposed to something that made her hand bleed. Jasper was still not able to control his lust not to injure Bella. This makes Edward was angry. Edward did not want Bella injured farther. He left Bella with the reason he did not love Bella anymore.

That injured Bella's heart very much. Her days after Edward left, she seemed empty and hollow. Fortunately, there was Jacob, who tried to fill the void of Bella's heart. Besides, Bella was experiencing a delusion that if she was doing dangerous things, she could see or hear Edward's voice. However, his days with Jacob were not as fluent as previous. Jacob began to stay away Bella. Not for a while, Bella knew that Jacob was a werewolf, vampires’ enemies. Nevertheless, Bella still wanted to be friend with Jacob. Alice came to save bella, for she, with her ability, knew that Bella tried to commit suicide by jumping off a cliff. Actually, Bella jumped, for she wanted to do extreme sports. Besides, she wanted to hear Edward's voice that was always arising in times of danger. Alice said that Bella like hazards.

Edward was wrong and thought Bella was dead. He went to Italy to meet with the Voltury’s family to ask him killing him. Fortunately, bella still had time to save Edward and they can be reunited. Edward apologized and explained why he leaves Bella. When Bella asked him immortality and other family, he offered terms to apply for Bella.
